Youth Sailing Fundraiser

Internationally acclaimed Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser (from Inverness, Scotland) and cellist Natalie Haas are coming to the Inverness Yacht Club for a special benefit performance for the IYC Youth Sailing Program.  Alasdair and Natalie perform world wide and are among the most highly regarded artists preforming Celtic music.

This will be a very popular event as Alasdair and Natalie have a wide and enthusiastic following in the greater Bay Area.  We are limited in attendance to around 140.  The Youth Sailing Committee (YSC) wants to give first priority for tickets to IYC members.  Ticket sales will be limited to members until October 8.  After then, sales will be opened to the West Marin community and then to the greater Bay Area.

Tickets will be $50 per person.  We are getting a special price for the performance so the majority of the ticket proceeds will go directly to the YS program.  The program will be from 7:30-10:00 on November 12 immediately following the open house.  Light Hors D’oeuvres and refreshments will be served, AND there will be a special Single Malt Scotch sampling in recognition of the spirit of the evening.  Proceeds from the bar and the scotch tasting also go to Youth Sailing.
